Sri Aurobindo University (SAU) is the umbrella private university over Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) and its allied medical, nursing, pharmacy and management colleges, on a 90-acre Sanwer Road campus near MR-10 with a 1,400-bed teaching hospital. Its campus is ~11 km from the city centre — but the SAU route reaches the central squares near our hostels (Geeta Bhawan and Madhumilan, with Regal and Palasia on the college fleet) for a direct ride to MR-10. SAU is the wider university; SAIMS is its flagship medical college — this page is for SAU students who want a central base.

Many SAU students prefer central Indore over the Sanwer Road campus — closer to NEET-PG coaching, markets, transport and family. We serve homely meals four times a day — with a late dinner held for clinical and duty hours, an early breakfast and your lunch packed as a morning tiffin before ward rounds — plus a resident warden, biometric security, WiFi, housekeeping and quiet rooms for night study, from ₹8,999/month all-inclusive.
